Our Story – The Birth of ExamtaGroup

 

ExamtaGroup was born out of a deep desire to reimagine education for the African child — to make it smarter, more relevant, and more exciting.

 

Our founder, Phathutshedzo Masutha, a passionate entrepreneur, and visionary, saw first-hand how traditional  education often failed to ignite true understanding, creativity, or confidence in students. Despite being the top student in his faculty and an embodiment of academic excellence, he noticed a gap: many learners were stuck in systems that didn’t prepare them for real life — systems that overlooked critical thinking, financial intelligence, and joyful discovery.

 

So, he asked a bold question:

“What if learning could be fun, powerful, and future-proof — all at once?”

 

That question became a mission.

 

With this dream, ExamtaGroup was established — not just as a tutoring company, but as a movement to transform how young people across Africa engage with learning.

Today, we’re building a platform that:

Uses artificial intelligence to give learners smart, real-time academic help

Teaches financial literacy to equip students for economic freedom

Introduces boardgames to sharpen minds and improve decision-making

Builds a strong reading culture that inspires leadership and vision
